Pickup Instructions
Please read the following information for the pickup instructions for your wildlife tour!
Pickup location:
Harrigan Centennial Hall (330 Harbor Drive)
There is a large covered shelter area located 150 feet next to the Harrigan Centennial Hall (towards the mountains). It is adjacent to the building and not part of the Harrigan Centennial Hall, we will meet you under this large covered area! Attached below are multiple photos of exactly where to go.
Once you arrive at the meet location, please dont expect to see us until the time of your tour as we are on other tours. We will arrive with a small handheld oval shaped sign that has our logo (Sitka Expeditions) on it. There is no posted signage for the pickup location. As long as you are under the covered shelter area, you will see us! If you are lost or not sure where to go, please feel free to call us.
If your ship docks at the Sitka Cruise Terminal, you will need to board a shuttle to “downtown Sitka” where the free shuttle will drop you off at the Harrigan Centennial Hall
If your ship anchors out and you tender in, please board a tender as early as possible to get into town. The lines for the tenders can become long and may take longer than you think. Once you exit your tender, if you arrive under the bridge, the HCH (Harrigan Centennial Hall) is a short walk to the meet location!
If you are independently traveling, please disregard the shuttle information above, we will meet you at the Harrigan Centennial Hall
We strongly recommend reserving a free shuttle ahead of time at www.sitkadock.com.
While it’s not required, the shuttle lines can get long, and having a reservation helps avoid delays. If you don't reserve a spot, please give yourself plenty of time to catch a shuttle. The reservations are NOT required but just suggested.
REMINDER: IF YOUR SHIP DOCKS AT THE SITKA SOUND CRUISE TERMINAL, YOU WILL NEED TO BOARD A SHUTTLE TO DOWNTOWN SITKA FOR YOUR TOUR.
FAQ

Not to worry! Reserving a shuttle is not a required factor, we just suggest it to speed up the process for you to get into town! If you cant reserve a free shuttle, the other free shuttles will take you down but often have a long line! Please give yourself ample time to make it to downtown Sitka.
-
We suggest as early as you feel comfortable! We highly suggest to give yourself a lot of time to get to town and explore before your tour. Downtown Sitka is a 2 min walk to the Harrigan Centennial Hall, so go get yourself something to eat, explore some shops and we will see you for your tour!
-
Not a problem! Feel free to text us or call us and we can tell you exactly where your ship will arrive in Sitka!
-
No, we are not able to put a sign at the covered shelter as its city property but we will have our handheld sign for the tour!
-
Depending on circumstances, you could not receive a refund for your tour as your spot has prevented other guests from booking. We understand theres a lot going on during traveling so we try to be as accommodating as possible!
